Permitted use
Use BuildSync for lawful, authorised professional and business work within your account permissions and agreed limits. Respect source licences, personal-data rights, confidentiality and third-party intellectual property. Upload only information you are entitled to process and disclose to the authorised recipients and enabled providers.
Prohibited conduct
Do not obtain or share credentials, evade authentication or tenant boundaries, access another user's files without authority, distribute malicious content, disrupt the service, submit deceptive records, impersonate a professional or authority, dox or unlawfully monitor people, infringe rights, or knowingly process unlawfully acquired data. Do not use automation to exhaust resources, circumvent usage limits or reconstruct proprietary datasets through unauthorised bulk extraction. Do not use AI to issue an unreviewed safety certificate, statutory approval or professional sign-off, or to conceal uncertainty in a consequential decision. No decision about a person's employment, credit or other materially significant rights should be made solely from an unvalidated AI inference.
Protection and enforcement
Use the least access needed, review sharing before export and remove unnecessary personal and confidential information from support reports. Report suspected misuse through [email protected] without spreading the affected material. We may investigate proportionately, restrict access, preserve necessary evidence or remove unlawful content. Where practicable, explain the action and allow review through [email protected]; do not disclose information that would endanger security or another person. Actions must follow applicable law and the customer agreement, rather than an unrestricted right to inspect all customer content.
Legitimate activities
This policy does not prohibit lawful independent development, accessibility tools, ordinary authorised exports, rights requests, criticism or security reporting conducted within an agreed scope. Permission to read a public page is not permission to access private systems or reuse protected content beyond applicable law and licences.
