Report a concern
If you believe material available through BuildSync infringes your copyright, trade mark or other rights, or improperly discloses confidential information, identify the material and location, your right or authority to represent the rights holder, the reason for the concern and a contact for follow-up. Provide only necessary evidence; do not disclose additional trade secrets in an open email or public comment. Request a secure channel when appropriate. This is a general reporting process, not a claim that a US DMCA procedure applies to every case.
Review process
We may seek clarification, restrict access while assessing a credible concern, consult affected parties where lawful and take proportionate action. A person affected by a restriction may submit evidence of authorisation or lawful use through the same channel. Do not forward a complainant's private contact details or sensitive evidence unnecessarily. Preserve necessary evidence under an appropriate legal hold, with limited access. False or misleading allegations may carry legal consequences; no compulsory indemnity is imposed by this reporting notice.
Rights and limits
Customer input remains subject to its owner's rights; an AI output does not automatically extinguish source rights. Public website access does not grant ownership of BuildSync's protected expression or confidential technology. Copyright does not create a monopoly over every general idea or product category; lawful independent development remains possible. Protecting a trade secret requires maintaining confidentiality in practice, including appropriate access and contractual controls. Nothing here promises that policies or crawler instructions can prevent all copying. Contractual confidentiality applies under the relevant agreement, subject to mandatory law, lawful reporting and independent-source exclusions.
